Word on Non-Disclosure Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements
We
do not sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) on initial presentation
due to the large number of executive summaries / business plans
that we receive and the burdensome legal documentation that would
accompany them. Although we make every effort to hold in confidence
all information that we receive, we suggest that you do not submit
to us any information that you feel is confidential in this initial
contact with The Pembroke Group, LLC. If the General Partners
find your executive summary of interest, we will enter into a
standard two way confidentiality agreement that allows both parties
to move thru our investment process without any proprietary barriers.
We also do not guarantee confidentiality with regard to how you
submit your business plan; that is via Web or non-Web transmission.
We also do not return business plans or other materials submitted
to us. Our reputation, we believe, hinges on our professionalism,
integrity and ability to maintain the trust of the entrepreneurs
with whom we work.
